After a brief hiatus, we’re back! Thanks to Miles’ efforts, the main frame triangle is fully tacked together, and most full weld beads have been laid down. I continued work on cutting out pieces for the swingarm, which will hopefully be drilled and tacked next work day.
The rear freewheel was delivered today, which will allow me to calculate the final chainline and CAD a crankset and chainring to be milled out of aluminum. We also met another shop tech, Junior, who will hopefully be joining this project. Him and I will focus the next two weeks on building molds and making composite shells for the “gas” tank and rear seat cowling, and also look into getting the sheet metal parts water jet.
